I have been recently working on some illustrations for New Zealand recipes.

Here are my designs. I had lots of fun with these, as I have a great love of collage, montage and image composition.

Lovely Lamingtons...

I have been illustrating some New Zealand based recipes recently, and as a way of informing what I am doing I have been following the recipes too!

Here is 'Lamingtons' a sponge that is covered in chocolate and dessicated coconut. Goes well with whipped cream!

The Umbrellas of Cherbourg

I have recently watched this thoroughly entertaining French film from 1964 starring Catherine Deneuve. I was inspired by the vivacious colour that was used on set. This publicity poster proves just how great 60′s design was!

This poster  (and film) have inspired me to research in more depth that art of advertising particularly French New Wave Films. I will keep you posted with my new work!
